1. Went really well , got lots of positive feedback after the gig and i dont think i sounded too out of key for most of the time . the gig was recorded so will know a bit more when i listen back to it . so glad i just got in there and did it though as could of been messing about changing my mind for ages.

 3. Played a local pub lastnight with the new fretless for the first time ,i must admit i took the fretted aswell but tell you what , i was enjoying myself so much with the new one i didnt even get round to swapping for the songs i thought would sound a bit strange with it , yes there were a few intonation issues as expected but overall i think it went great . the gig was recorded from the desk although myself and the guitarists just played from backline but hopefully will be able to listen back and see how i actualy sounded.
 4. After just getting the unlined fretless which i am totaly new to ,i am contemplating using it for the gig tomorrow for most of the songs . will take a fretted as well for some numbers though . i have not had a rehersal with the band with it yet but been playing it at home for a week and i think i can do ,yes there will be some intonation problems but i think overall i could pull it off. just looking for your thoughts really ,what would you do?

 8. My last hobbie was old rusty v dubs and that has cost me a shed load over the last 20 years or so. which makes me feel a little better when i shell out a bit for a new bass ,leads etc . i do play in a covers band though which brings in maybe £100 a month average and we are lucky enough to get a free rehersal room when ever we need it .

 21.
Its from Meddle mate It's an old friends favorite tune by pink floyd who sadly died at a young age, i am planning a return to performing live for a gig in his memory & we want to play it straight after "Wish you were here" in his memory. I'm just really struggling with this one
What a nice idea ,dont thik i could hold it together long enough to play wish you were here though , an amazing song choice.
 22. getting ready to watch this now hope its good !
