  1. Thank you. I really hope I can do it justice!!
  2. Pickup arrived! Custom order from Bareknuckle with aged grey bobbins! All in the details!
  3. So this has taken a back seat. Partly being winter and couldn’t spray in winter so trying to get to some spraying this summer. I wear my bass high ish, so the slab body wouldn’t be great for me so I’ve carved a tummy cut into it. Very much a hybrid thing but has elements I like/need with the look I’m going for. Still some final shaping and details to sand but it’s pretty much there. 🙌 I worked from a photo, but I think it’s pretty much a fender looking tummy cut.
  4. This was for a build that I have since decided against. This is brand new and not even been opened. I’ve used these before and it’s a great sounding pickup! 18mm string spacing at the bridge, so ideal for Music Man etc. £145 £125 with UK delivery.
  5. Scaling down on pedals. This is basically new, still has film on the screen. Has Velcro on the bottom and original feet to stick on the bottom. This is the one with a bonafide buffer built in. £55 with UK delivery
  6. So far it’s not gone any further, adulting has got in the way! Pickup wise, not sure. Maybe a Lindy fralin, or bareknuckle, as I’ve installed on of theirs into another bass and liked it. I’m not sure though.
  7. I've decided to sell some pedals I don't really use any more since leaving a band. Its an amazing pedal. Its an amazing compressor pedal. Its in really good condition, just some Velcro on the bottom. I'm pretty sure I have the box. £115 with UK delivery I will upload some photos this evening.
  8. I've decided to sell some pedals I don't really use. Bought this a while ago and never used it since buying it. Its an amazing pedal. Personally the best bass drive I've owned. Its in good condition, just some Velcro on the bottom and no box. £115 with UK delivery
  9. Selling my octave pedal as it doesn’t get used. Great octave Pedal with amazing tracking, even on 5 string. I’ve owned it since new and still basically new, just some Velcro on the bottom. £74 with UK delivery
  10. I’m downsizing my board so this is now overkill for what I need. It’s a great power supply with plenty of power and options for various types of pedals. It’s pretty good condition apart from one dink on the paint work, but all works as it should. Velcro on the bottom. Not sure it’s got very single wire it came with but I’ve put in as many as I have, so plenty included for a decent sized board. No box, but will be well packed. £66 with Uk delivery.
  11. Sure, PM incoming. That's going to be interesting! I have a build thread going, not sure if you've seen it. Going to be Gold Paisley.
  12. I got these for a recent build but they are a little too big. I think my headstock is a little smaller than a standard Fender. These decals are form GuitarDecals.co.uk and are top quality replacements. He was very kind and said he’d reprint them smaller for free, and to keep these. So I thought I’d pass these on. Basically free just cover postage - £2 (will be sent 1st class signed for)
  13. The decal also arrived but seems a little big to me…? Compared to; What do you think? On a more positive note, some paisley paper and some nitro from Rothko and Frost arrived today. Such good quality!!
  14. Yea sorry should have mention it will have some Amber over the top.
  15. I have a paisley decision to make. Both pink paisley but top one is silver backed and lower is pearl gold backed….kind of like the muted look of the silver? Hmmmm….
  16. Yea I’ve seen that, they don’t do a bass in it. They probably should! It looks great with a bigsby. This is going to be gold paisley relic so quite a bit different. If I wanted to buy an official fender gold paisley, I’d be looking at custom shop prices.
  17. Making at start on this as we are in warmer climates. The neck was slightly bigger the pocket so needed a little sand. As my mum would say, “it’s snug as a bug in a rug”. 👍 I got some sanding sealer on the neck today as well.
  18. Totally. I’d rather it slightly too big than too small. I can make sure it’s a nice snug fit. 👍
  19. Neck heel width is 63.3 as it turns out, so needs a little sanding to make it fit, or I may route the body a touch bigger… Lots of parts, but not allparts 😂🤣
  20. No I got the standard 50’s neck width. I’ll measure the neck when I get a chance and see what it is, but I did expect it to be slightly too small/just about right. Are you looking at the tele bass neck?
  21. Thank you, but I’m happy to make my own. I used to work for Jacks Instruments/Tiny Tone and we made guards, so I have access to loads of pickguard templates, then will just route it myself. Really appreciate the offer though. 👍
  22. I’ve just got out the neck (pics to follow). And the neck is slightly too big, I’m talking fractions, it could be forced in it’s that close, but could cause some damage. So a little sanding and it should be perfect. It’s a great body. 3rd one I’ve got from them. I know guitar build offer two sizes on their 51/54 bodies. They offer original 50s size (62.8mm) and reissue size (63.5). Reissue is bigger than original, so might be worth looking at that.
  23. 😂Maybe if the price is right. 🤣 🤑
  24. Me too! 😂 It’s coming from Allparts. Used them before and they are great necks and their qc is usually pretty good so I’m hopeful.
