Oh my!!!
I’ve always wanted a paisley Jazz - missed out when they did them a couple of years ago…
Stupidly passed up a pink paisley 54 MIJ which was less than cost in a sale when I worked in a shop which I’ve never forgiven myself for…
Ah well - I’ll live vicariously through this thread 😂
Have you sourced the foil backed paper for the pattern or are you doing something different?
exciting…
Thank you. Yea they look great! I’ve always fancied a gold paisley which you don’t often/ever see, so decided to put my own together.
You can buy the paper from Rothko and Frost. It’s as close as you can get to the real stuff and they do all kinds of colours. I’m going for pink on gold pearl backing to match the gold burst.
Neck should be arriving tomorrow. 👍

Hello all,
I’ve been itching for a gold paisley something for ages, and recently I’ve been wanting a 51/68 style Tele Bass. So I thought I’d stick those two ideas together! 💡
I’ve done 3 parts builds that I’ve sprayed myself, and 10 scratch builds. As well as copious amounts of spray work for neck breaks etc. So going all out doing some stuff I’ve not done before on this. Never down paisley, and never done any bursts, so should be interesting.
This will be a fairly long on going project but thought I’d start a thread as I’ve been buying some bits.
I got this body in Black Friday deal so this is the start. The neck and some other bits are on their way from Allparts.
So if your a tele/precision bass, or a paisley fan then watch this space. 👍

Is it possible to steam and curve these thicknesses to re-front a p bass?
I’ve never done it, but reckon it would need to be more like 5-6mm to bend it. I can easily thickness it to whatever thickness.Or glue it on flat and blend it into the arm contour.

I have decided to thin down the wood that I have so these pieces are the ones to go.
This first ones sizes are;
Thickness: 45mm
Width: 380mm
Length: 460mm
The second is SOLD
There is a worm hole in the but easily avoidable.
These are glued and ready to go, but I will say that it could do with a little more drying out before use. Currently sitting around 17/18%, this is reflected in the price.
Will be sent ParcelForce48
I have other wood listed, I’m happy to combine postage.
Let me know if you have any questions.

That's a bargain, though it is pretty heavy. If I hadn't just replaced my entire rig, I'd be very tempted at this price. GLWTS!
Thank you, I'd keep it but fancy something more compact. Maybe its priced too low. 😆 It's what I paid for it, so thought I'd sell it for the same. 👍

I used to have the Club 1x12 and it was very nice with a 5.
Thank you. I think the NY121 is a slightly different design, but its encouraging to hear.

I have a little mark II head and would like compact cab for home use and maybe adding a second for gigs.
I like the look of the NY121 cabs for size/weight etc but not sure how they sound with a 5 string? Looking at either that or the 102 cab (2x10).
Any experiences from people using them with a 5?

Would you be interested in trading a Ibanez BTB675 and a few quid?

Thanks for the reply, but not my cup of tea I’m afraid.

With much regret I have decided to sell my much loved corvette std. I got this used around 17 years ago, when nearly new, so I’m it’s second owner. It was my first proper bass so that’s the only reason I’ve kept it. Since getting my streamer stage 2 5 around 14 years ago, it just doesn’t get played.
As it’s a 1998 it has Wenge neck and is German made. So amazing quality form an amazing era of Warwick. It’s in pretty good condition for a 24 year old bass and it’s been well loved during that time. I’ve tried to show this on the photos. Comes with original strap locks. (Not in photos).
£560
Collection preferred, but happy to courier for a little extra.

is the pickup removable from it's cover? i'm wondering about mounting it into a wooden casing to fit in a bass with an oversized pickup casing.
Matt
Yea the cover comes off no problem. It’s not a sealed unit.

Hipshot B Style 5 String Bass Bridge .708 (18mm) String Spacing - Black, Brass.
I bought this bridge for a project but it never got used. Still comes with original hipshot packaging so is brand new condition.
This is a standard Hipshot mount, NOT Fender mount. It would fit Fender basses etc but new holes would need to be drilled.
Feel free to ask any questions.
