Hi fellow bass players, here is my Fender jazz 60th Anniversary limited edition, this version of the American Series features US Vintage pickups, custom case, engraved neckplate, and jeweled headstock. ok it looks fab, but much more important, it seems to me that Fender paid far more attention to detail and sound on this model. It's beautifully made and really does have a sound, it's closer to CS at half the price It also has the S1 switch which gives another dimension to this bass. I believe the neck is closer to the '62 Jazz, it's slightly slimmer and really easy to play. Comes with original commemorative case, you're welcome to try it out. original scratchplate included + hex adjustment tool. £750, possible trade for EBS neo cab 212 or 210 depending on condition
Possible Trade
I believe you are right, the Hot Rods were passive only, but this is dated 1999 the first year the Hot Rods were made and the active circuit looks to be original, inserted in manufacture. It appears that Fender made some active basses at the same time. Everything else about the bass looks like the passive models. Perhaps you can find some more info', look forward to hearing from anyone who has knowledge of these basses. Inspection welcome.
Bump.

Mark Bass CMD 102P - 2 x 10 combo For Sale
elcastillian replied to Darshan's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Hi I'm looking to trade or sell my Mark Bass Combo as the gigs I'm doing simply don't require an amp of this size. I'm interested in anything small but with a decent bit of power eg. a EBS Neo Drome 12 combo, or an aguilar tone hammer with an SL 12 Cab. I'm looking for £650 as a straight sale and open to offers. Pics coming soon.
It's just ever so useful too know where the seller/item lives when considering whether to buy ! -
That is my perfect P bass right there! Is the active circuit a retro-fit, as I'm sure the Hot Rods were passive only? Cheers Gareth
I believe you are right, the Hot Rods were passive only, but this is dated 1999 the first year the Hot Rods were made and the active circuit looks to be original, inserted in manufacture. Hi fellow bass men, I have an interesting and quite rare Fender PJ for sale. I believe this model is related to the the Hot rodded bass that fender made for a short time only. This one was built with a preamp, it doesn't change the sound a great deal but it does make each pickup sound really hot, but still preserving the essential Precision and throaty bridge pickup Jazz sound. It's a Precision neck but the slightly slimmer version. It's a lovely bass and plays very well, I've had many memorable gigs with it. I would like £750, you are welcome to try it out. Comes with a quality Fender case. SOLD
Epifani UL502 in very good condition. I'll include the rack case in the sale. You all know how these sound; warm, punchy and articulate. A modern Ampeg, almost. Don't know what else to say really - if you need to anything please ask. I'm looking for 700 GBP. Thanks! I'm considering selling my Peavey DPC750 Power amp and the Peavey Bass fex. The DPC delivers 700 watts into 8 ohms, bridge mode 400 watts using 1 channel onto 4 ohms 350 watts per channel, both channels driven. I have the owners manual for both items. I don't actually know what price to put on them as I haven't seen any for sale. They're both in good condition and haven't seen many gigs, small studio use mostly. Any thoughts welcome. £250ish
