C'mon man, I'm serious about this, it's just what I'm after
Chill man. Its a 4ohm, with the lg, its got enough to keep up in small gigs if the drummer is being sensible (rare i know). I mainly use it for acoustic stuff. As a comparison prob similar output to a 250w with a 12". As for delivery, If you wanna sort a courier ill box it up for you.

Ashdown Little Giant 1000w Amp. As new in box, with rack ears and cab and kettle leads. Superfly 2x8 500W cab. As new. Weighs about 12kg. This is an awesome little bit of kit. I can walk down the road to my mates with this in my hands and my bass on my back. Pretty loud too, and with another cab like the 1x15 or somthing, it pumps out 1000w! Sadly it got to go because i need the money and its a luxury more than a necessity. Only just got it. Humph. Looking for about £400, gimme a sensible offer if you think ive set the bar a bit high. Willing to deliver to a reasonable distance from Cardiff (~30 miles) for a bit of petrol money. Sorry Southern people, but im not going over the Severn Bridge, it costs me £11.50! Will add some pics tomorrow. Love you all. Thack

Just a chance for any basschatters to grab these before they go on eGay. These are the older models with no neutrik socket and no metal trim. The 12T is 8ohm with 150w powerhandling. Not loads, but it weighs nothing and is a great little practice or acoustic amp. £120 The 48 is 8ohm with 600w powerhandling. This has great punch considering its size, it can keep up with my hartke 4x10. £120 £210 if you get the pair together, because i love you all and would rather they stay in the basschat circle. I will try get pics up if i can get hold of a camera, but theyre in great nick other than scuffed corners and upholstery. Pick up only for now im afraid, my van is broked. Im in Cardiff
What a great result mate, not meaning to sound like i'm questioning you repair but how does the tuning hold now?
Really good, the neck is solid as ever. Way better than I expected, you can tell its been fixed though, i guess if id taken it to a pro you wouldnt be able to see the glue seams. Still, only cost about £5 rather than around £200.

Shes fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did it myself.
I'm just a bit surprised that elsewhere on the forum there is so much support for our fellow bass players, yet ads like these seem to get a bit of friction. Did I miss something? I think that the more support and useful responses we can put on these posts, then the greater likelihood that we will continue to get pro' acts looking for bass players. As a pro myself, if adverts are dropped on my doorstep instead of having to go look for them then it's a good thing no? So let's all be a bit more constructive eh? Bass players might get a bad name otherwise!
Definitely. I think this is a very informative, no bullshit ad, a breath of fresh air for me as a networking bass player. I understand the jokes and scepticism, but its a bit much sometimes, this isnt supposed to be a bassist vs. the world forum (quite the opposite i think). Wish i could go for the job, if it wasnt the other side of the country i would.
Was it already repaired? Looks like a sloppy glue job between the neck and fretboard already... and what's the black block where the crack starts?
The glue was just a blotch i got on the neck ages ago because im clumsy (see pics). The black block is a rosewood volute the previous owner decided to put on. I know, wtf?!!?
A professional repair, methinks. I don't think I'd tackle that myself. Not insurmountable, though. A bit of glue, a couple of days in some clamps and a quick tidy up and it'll be right as rain again. WTF happened? Did it get dropped? Strap fall off of a strap button?
Lent it against a swivelling office chair, duh! So i had it coming really

I use the built-in compressor on my HA3500, set on a low ratio it tightens up the trebles nicely without killing all the attack, get for funk and acid jazz. But i rarely use it live, I use my new LG1000, which has a more classic sound which doesnt compliment compression imo. I agree with BottomEndian, a little bit always good to keep it tight when you go crazy.
