paulie Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) Im selling a gorgeous Modulus Flea Bass for £1050 It is in Excellent Condition, just a tiny nick in the finish at the bottom and a few small scratches and nicks which are only visible in a certain light! It has the Blue Sparkle Finish with Matching Headstock. Its the 2 band EQ version with the badass bridge. Gorgeous staight graphite neck. Comes with the Modulus Hardshell Case which is also in Excellent Condition For some reason I had difficulty downloading a photo here of the bass so I can email photos to anybody who is interested. In the meantime I have attached a photo from the website of a similar bass. Thanks Paulie [attachment=57303:Flea_bass.jpg] Edited March 11, 2012 by paulie
paulie Posted August 24, 2010 Author Posted August 24, 2010 Bump for a lovely bass. Go on be like Flea
Beedster Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 For sheer range and playability, it doesn't get better than an FB4. Keep it Paulie C
paulie Posted August 25, 2010 Author Posted August 25, 2010 I Know, I really should keep and may just do that. I had wanted one of these since the day I first held one about 12 years ago! However, Im back playing Fender Jazz basses exclusively and that seems to be the sound that suits me best rather than the huge low, zingy high that comes out of the Flea bass.
Rayman Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Fabulous bass. I've wanted one for some time, and in my favourite colour too, but I'm always skint. I'm sure someone will grab this off you before long.
Magnolia Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Argh!!!!! I only sold mine a week or so and im already missing it and looking at this with intent. Please someone buy it before the impulse demons come get me!!
allihts Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 What are the necks like on these? (btw no way i can afford it, just wondering )
paulie Posted August 25, 2010 Author Posted August 25, 2010 The neck is similar in dimension to a pre cbs jazz. However, the laquer they use over the graphite makes it really smooth to play, always staying slick and it nevers gets sticky like a heavily finished 70's Fender! Its just perfect!
