I'm not sure how low they are compared to other Stingrays, I did have a cream '78 Stingray that was stolen from me (bastards!!!), and they're a similar height to that, maybe a little lower, but this is the way I prefer anyway. As far as the finish goes, the front and back of the neck and back of the headstock have all been re-finished, but the front of the headstock is untouched.
