absolutpepper
Apologies if its been asked before..... Did Fender ever make a P Bass that came with a Jazz neck? I really fancy a Precision but I much prefer the narrower neck.

Clarky
and there's always the Lakland Duck Dunn, for a high quality Fender-alike P with Jazz neck and block markers
Cat Burrito
I'm getting into the bitsa basses & I'm the other way around. If I had a Jazz I'd stick a P-bass neck on it.
absolutpepper
I reckon the Lakland sounds like the way to go. Better get saving. I've promised myself no more basses this year so I'll go for it next year!!!

For those of us who like the P width the Fretking P/J has a P width neck, that headstock though..............

Deep Thought
Some of the Japanese P's at Guitar Emporium (No longer with us but here's their website) have 'slimmer' necks too. Lozz196
The Duff McKagan Signature model has a jazz neck.
Buzz
The Aerodyne Jazz bass is obviously a jazz neck but comes with a P-pup, which is close enough (Mine's about to appear in the For Sale section if you're interested). Dunno if the Aerodyne P-bass has a precision or jazz neck though. Edited August 26, 2010 by Buzz

Aerodynes P & J have Jazz necks I believe & completely different body to the Bello. I love mine Edited August 26, 2010 by KiOgon
AttitudeCastle
The Duff McKagan Signature model has a jazz neck.
Actually its a custom size, its more P-bass to my hands, Swapping the necks it quite easy is it not? as they are the same ummm measurements? In the pocket and what not
