That "Countdown Of The Eighties" Thing Last Night

Watched one of them "countdown" things, just all the best known songs of the eighties. Me & Mrs HT, we had a laugh, we cringed, but god we enjoyed it! So many memories....

But... say what you like about that awful decade, but some of the music - bass especially - was outstanding! A helluva lot better than the cr@p we're fed as "mainstream" now!

I didn't see it & wasn't a fan of the 80s at the time (or now!) musically BUT I think any decade can easily find 100 great moments. I keep finding 80s moments that were better than I'd initially given them credit.

Okay, maybe not 100 greatest moments, but definately 100 great mullets/moustaches!

Ah, nostalgia - it IS what it used to be!
No doubt, some will be saying the same thing in 20 or so years time about the 'noughties' having some pretty good stuff in it.
Not like the crap being served up in 2020/2030...
