There's a 'FabFive' for sale locally, and I'm planning to check it out. Any opinions would be appreciated! Thanks. Edited August 31, 2010 by Larmer Quote

I'm mainly wondering how would it compare, for example, against a Status? The one for sale here is priced at 990€, seems like a bargain if it's over two grands for a new one. The weight attracts me a lot too. I recently started my studies as a musician, so I need a light bass I can carry all day. 2.5kg? For real? Bro? That'd be dreamy. Why am I still babbling here and not telling you how it felt and sounded? Well I'm the guy without a drivers license & a car, so I need to arrange a ride there (the store is 90mins away from here) and I can't make it happen this week. Quote
BigRedX Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 From the little I can find out they seem to have more in common with BassLab than other carbon fibre instruments. If you find it's not for you can you find out if they'll ship to the UK as I may well be interested. Quote
