Hi, here for sale we have:

An all original 1988 Fender 1962 Re-Issue Jazz bass. It's black, with a Maple Neck/Rosewood fretboard, and a tortoiseshell pickguard. Pickups are all original, and it has the dual stacked knob layout, with all original cloth wiring. It's in very good condition for it's age, but it's been played for 22 years so obviously has the odd small blemish and a small paint chip by the neck plate. It's a great looking and sounding bass, with a great range of tones on offer. This bass is a keeper really, but financial conditions have taken their toll, and hence, I need a sale. It was bought 8 months ago for £1300 and has only been used for a couple of gigs, it's in exactly the same condition as when I bought it.

I will post pictures as soon as I can. The bass is located in Chingford, East London, where you are welcome to come and try it out.

As I mentioned it was bought only a few months ago for £1300, so I'd be looking for as much of that back as possible, so £1200 o.n.o. including non-original Hard Case.

Cheers

Way cool to have a Dad that plays bass. My Dad always wanted to be a singer, or a drummer, (I think). It never happened. He was therefore massively helpful and supportive when I started on bass as a young un as he thought the bass was 'cool and mysterious' haha.

Now he cant believe how much its taken over my life, and how much Ive spent, (in a good way though, at least I didnt waste it overpriced cars like my friends did and still do).

Good luck with the sale.
