Buchtenfischer Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 (edited) This is a UV 70 model, electronics, hardware and pickups original, comes with original softcase. Ash body, maple neck with a stunning birdseye maple fretboard. The fretboard was changed from rosewood to maple by German masterbuilder Siggi Jäger from Human Base. It is an incredible work who really improved the sound of the bass- it has the growly, thick sound of old Jazz Basses with a perfect B-string. Much like Marcus Miller. It has also a zero fret which makes the sound of the open strings more "even". It is a very lightweight bass, 4,1kg/9lbs . 19mm(3/4inch) stringspacing on the bridge. Open for trades (4 string) Edited September 6, 2010 by Buchtenfischer
Rumble Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Could you tell me how much this weighs and what the string spacing is at the bridge?
bubinga5 Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 just out of interest, why did you have the fret board done? lovely bass...
CHRISDABASS Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Not really 100% original if it has a new fretboard..........beautiful though

MikeyOC Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Any interest in trading straight for this? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry938100 That bass is amazing. Just feel like moving to 5 string. List price would suggest the Lakland is worth more but I would swap straight. Regards Mike
