hoiho
Hadn't got round to an introduction post, then I realised that I could just edit my gizzagig post By day, I'm a mild-mannered middle-aged ex-computer scientist, now studying law. By night, I follow the mighty path of the Low B string... I've been playing bass on and off for nearly 30 years. In that time, I've played all sorts, from classical (I recently played second bass in the Cambridge Concert Orchestra (so, yes, I can read, a bit)), to post-punk in 80s Manchester, via pit bands, blues, jazz, folk-rock, and so on... (You'd think that after all that I'd be better!) Anyway, at my age, I'm no longer looking to become rich, famous, or get the chix. Not that I ever did, really. I always just just wanted to play. Never knowingly said no to beer money, or an open bar, though.
