Stingray5
...It's actually not too much of a slap-fest, either!
AndyTravis
Takes three minutes to get interesting, and i still don't care. Have i missed something? The slap section is rough too. The guy is playing a lefty Stingray, Strung like an upside-down righty...hmm. Still don't care. *i don't personally get it, as a 'demo'* Edited September 4, 2010 by AndyTravis

witterth
MMmmmm... I suppose so gentlemen, but if you were to have to say what a stingray "sounds like" thats pretty typical. isn't it? hence that "demo" I suppose.....errr..yeah, I'm right

stingrayPete1977
Its not the playing so much as the cheesy crap music behind it
Chris2112
Urgh, "bass noodling" at its worst. I love a good youtube bedroom slap fest like the rest of us, but this really struck me as aimless and uninspired. The recording was pretty poor and doesn't show off the MM well, as it sounds hollow and lifeless. I didn't enjoy that.

AndyTravis
I think i was a bit harsh last night, nice bottle of white sharpens the tongue - I try not to be a negative whingebox. I reckon i was just a bit underwhelmed by this chap, considering he's obviously a 'name' player doing demonstrations. Maybe i should change careers. Anyhow, fair f***s to him, i'd love his job. I want my neck Roasting, but it won't go in my oven.
Vibrating G String
It's probably just the bass he's playing Here's the same tune with a different bass. I think he sounds a bit more inspired and funky here.
