broken head

last night my ampeg svt450 suddenly wouldnt turn on
so after lots of flapping we checked the fuse and that had blown
i was thinking about it and could it just be the fuse or could it be something that will have triggered it ?

the fuse is there to protect everything else, i would put a new fuse in and see if it works
(MAKE SURE THE FUSE IS THE CORRECT RATING)

Ive had mains fuses go a few times on heads and combo's, its not been anything serious so far.
