I think it's a section that hasn't been finished!! - I think what it was meant to be refering to was mixing cabinets with different sized speakers in (running full range). I'll let Bill Fitzmaurice and Alex Claber's posts do the talking - there are definitely posts that suggest that it isn't a good idea and I don't want to dilute them by not relaying the facts properly!

My query isn't about cabs but it is something to do with being on the wiki:

in the strings section, it lists Roto Jazz 77 flats as having a very high tension and doesn't mention the tension (!!) of the La Bella JJ (Original 54) flats. My recent experience (I went straight from the 77's to the JJ's) show the reverse to be true. The Rotos were fine, the JJ's are stupidly high tension.

Am I missing something?

Maybe it's time for people to get more involved with the wiki and have some updates! -I'm not familiar with any kind of flatwounds so unfortunately can't comment.
