RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
+1 for the Gino Vannelli and Go West tracks. On a different slant, another tune that never fails to lift my spirit is one of my fave TV theme tunes ever...ever... Man, I just love that walkin' bass and strings! Theme from "Route 66" (1962)
Never knew anything about this programme. But the music/vid is ace!

Funnily enough, I was playing one of them in the car taking my mum home and thought it may be too morbid for her (she has a terminal illness) - she actually asked me to buy her a copy!! Truckstop
Well, each to their own I guess. But then, I like putting cats in bins to cheer me up when I'm down in the dumps. Truckstop

Its that riff and vocal delivery. Cool as ya like!!
