pantherairsoft
Hi people, I need something that is, or that generates a midi clock signal and that has a visual display of what the the tempo is via LCD readout and that can send that signal to an external source. Red Sound used to make the Micro Sync & the Voyager 1, both of which would do the job, the are compact and allow you to set the tempo on the display and send that to an external device. They have both been discontinued and when they do crop up on eBay I always get sniped! Does anyone know of anything else that does this, that is reasonably sized and doesn't cost the earth? gnasher1993
Not quite what you're looking for but: http://www.ploytec.com/34oneII/
pantherairsoft
Cheers. The device already has tap tempo. However that's not accurate enough. I need to be able to choose a bpm and know at a glance that's what it's running at before switching it on!

pantherairsoft
Thats what I'm looking at now. Some 2nd hand Korg EA-1's on the bay'. I just wanted to investigate any options people may know of that would fit on the pedalboard 1st, but I think your going to be right with the Drum Machine! synthetic
Something like this any good? Yamaha QY series sequencer Better video of the unit QY100 Sure you can get one of them, QY70 or 100 quite cheap now. It'll do more than you need and may be useful for recording too. Better than just a drum machine Edited September 6, 2010 by synthetic
