AG 500sc active/passive button

Just a quick Q...i have an AG500sc....is it going to be alot of difference in tone if im running a passive Fender Jazz through the amp with the Active bass button depressed?

or should i be keeping the amp in the passive setting?

any thoughts?

You should have more gain available in the passive setting.
Active is normally a -5db pad.
