Mike Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) Hi guys, need a quick sale on this. People who can pick up preferred - can ship as a last option! An almost mint condition of this bass - and genuinely one of the best I've owned. The reason I am selling is that I play my Sadowsky almost fulltime now and need the money for a Sadowsky 5 - plus precisions don't really figure in my plans. In my opinion, adding a jazz pup to this bass would make it the ultimate passive bass! Here are pics: Price is now £520 firm and I am in Chelmsford, Essex (CM2) close to the A12 which is near to M25. I don't mind driving a little way to meet somebody - any further and a few pounds towards petrol would be appreciated. Comes with a soft but excellent Lakland gigbag which has a broken zip (but possibly fixable!) on the pocket. PM or email with any Qs to mikemcgibney AT gmail DOT com. Thanks! cocco Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 This would make a nice partner for my CAR jazz. These have a j neck profile yes?
bassatnight Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I have an Aria SB1000 ending today on E-Bay, if it goes for its reserve I may just snap your hand off for this.
Mike Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 Okay. Quite a bit of interest so far but no firm offers. People who can pick up preferred!
Mike Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Okay, still here, though there is some local interest and a potential trade which would work well financially in my favour but really just need the money. Anybody fancy this?
EssentialTension Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010
... Anybody fancy this?
Yes, but can't afford it.
Gust0o Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Sexy bass. Wife would have my knackers, mind.
Mike Posted September 14, 2010 Author Posted September 14, 2010 Hey, man up! I have it on good authority that she's a massive DD fan! Buy it
giblett123 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010
Okay, now £520!
Have a bump Mike, I can't believe this is still here at that price, lovely basses, a sign of the times I guess.
Mike Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Yeah, a really tough time to sell. A shame as this is an outstanding bass.
dave_bass5 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Can you tell me who owned this before. PM me if you like. Im slightly interested (as in trying to raise the money)
JTUK Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Lovely looking bass...and I am not generally a P-bass type fan
dave_bass5 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010
Lovely looking bass...and I am not generally a P-bass type fan
Ive had a black PG and a Pearl white one on my DD's. Nothing you do with these basses takes away that classy look. And they are much, much nicer in the flesh. The red sparkle is fantastic.
Mike Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 Yep, it's a beautiful bass alright. And still available. Maybe I should keep it?
bassix Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Lovely bass, if I can just shift mine quick enough..
