Doc B Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 It's been about a year (I think) since I last posted on here but a few bass-related coincidences convinced me to make more time for this forum, and bass playing in general. My wife convinced me to order a bass from Jon Shuker after we visited his workshop while on holiday in the Peaks last September (seriously, it was all her idea!). I finally placed the order in February/March and got an email from Jon on Friday last week saying my bass should be ready by the end of next week! This just happens to coincide with our annual holiday to the Peaks - so I should be able to pick it up when we are down there next week. Nice one. The other, very sad, coincidence was seeing the tribute to Old Git (Simon) on Shuker's homepage but reading the tribute thread has made me determined to look at this forum regularly.
