David Nimrod
Hi guys, how does this look to you? Shouldn't it have screw holes for the bridge & p/up covers in the body? eBay item number - 180194329600

I thought the s/plate looked wrong, but I'm no Fender expert
neilb
The s/plate is not original, theres no thumbrest holes above the E string. Also that "access slot" next to the neck heel is not authentic. The logo etc seems date correct, however the string tree looks like a replacement. Anyway, the phrasing in the summary eg: During the professional setup of the guitar the bridge as replaced to help the setup of the action. The bridge that was fitted in its lifetime was not for this guitar. sounds like some foreigner has written it. So, its probably a genuine 75 P with a few replacement parts. Musky
That picture of the headstock looks very odd to me. The tuners look like they're chrome, which wasn't used until the introduction of Schallers - and they don't look like Schallers (they only came along in '76 anyway). The end of the fingerboard should be dished as well, which that doesn't seem to be. And yes, there should definitely be holes visible for the bridge cover. I'd avoid that I think. warwickhunt
I realise that it's ended anyway but from a non-specialist Fender view I'd have to add that the body just looked too clean in comparison to the headstock... just a general observation.
