Just found a link to this on Talkbass. I don't know if it's been posted here before, but I think this is a genius idea, he's pretty bloody good too.

At first I thought it sounded a little silly and annoying. But by the end of the piece it kind of just becomes ambience and actually fills the sound out quite a lot. Good idea though!

agreed - once you get used to it it's quite nice.
