sshorepunk Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) I have a Sterling that I want to move on as something has give me GAS Sunburst, maple fretboard, with MM hard case The bass plays and sounds great, however....... There is a chunk out of the laquer along the top of the bass There is also a crack in the laquer around the control cavity, the bass was dropped at some point and the wood around the cavity split slightly, this has been repaired and is probably stronger than the surrounding area. [/quote] The crack is still in the laquer, it's just the split in the wood that was repaired to stop it getting worse! I just robbed some of your photo's!!
