This is my Basschat rig. The amp I bought from Dave Vader, the cab from Rasta and the Compressor from Discreet. That just leaves the EQ unit and rack which I bought new.

Gallien Krueger Backline 600
Behringer Ultragraph 1502
DBX 166A
Ampeg B410HLF

It's loud! The addition of the EQ and Compressor has made the amp's on board overdrive channel sound a lot better and is now usable. As Dave said when I bought it from him, it can be a bit pants. Now it's vastly improved.

I'm trying out my little BF Midget in bigger and bigger situations to find it's limit. I may have found it, but it might have been the amp's.

Towngate Theatre in Basildon, over 500 seater, lovely big stage. Motown Sisters show with backdrops and back projected video clips so we were asked to keep back line to a minimum. 'This is a job for Midget T', I thought. And so it was, just. As you can see, on the edge of the little drum riser facing me, it was blasting! I have a bad habit of ending up being the loudest on stage, this was no exception and I was told that it was also contributing to the overall sound in the auditorium.

Remarkable little thing, blasting out Motown depth and refused to give up its clean tone even when I lifted the bass control. Not sure how much capacity was left, the Streamliner was well over halfway and never been used so high.

They look like Letts Basses to me. Not sure though.

Here's a recent picture of the rack part of my rig:

From the top:
Basspod XT Pro
Peterson StroboRack
SFX Microthumpinator
Tech Soundsystems Black Cat
All in a Boschma 6U rack case

There's a Sony DWZ-D30GB wireless receiver squeezed in there as well now

My poor iPhone camera doesn't work too well in the dimly lit room this lives in, but gives the general idea.
Orange AD200B MK3 & Orange OBC 410 in live in flight case.
Fender Mark Hoppus P/J (Mexican).

It's tone heaven for me, especially with the sansamp in front when needed.

Was this all re-covered? Where is the cab from? It looks like the front opens to store booze!

I did all the recovering and fabric myself. my dad made the cabinet, just from plans off the net except the design of the baffle that I wanted. A mate is a metalworker and he made the new face for the amp and the rear that you cant see here. There is a thread by me on here showing it under construction.

Here we go, then... the idea is to have an all-valve big-rig sound, but without the 'big cab' bit of the big rig...
Schroeder 1212L (4ohm), Burman MPA and Burman SL100, all on a Quik-Lok BS-625 dual-platform stand.

No hernia-tastic!
