 :shok: :gas: Dear God Man! That's impressive! B) And, if I've got my thinking right, The Firebass amp could power 4 of the cabs on it's own. Are you sure you need THAT many? Or are you in a Mastodon tribute act! ;) (I like Mastodon BTW.)

LOL..no, I do a variety of things playing with different bands and I also have my own...you should hear this thing ALL fired up at once...The Firebass will power 4 on its own at 2ohms....have a Marshall Super Bass 100 coming also

This is stating the obvious but it's interesting to see the trend of bassists moving towards smaller rigs, like 2x10s and 2x12s.

Here's what I've been using for a few years:

For those who dig 2x10 combos...
Just don't look. x
SUNN BetaBass 100w 2x15"Combo + HenryThe8x8"

Waking'up my neighbor's neighbor's neighbors. Yes, with only 100W. That's my idea of Downsizing.

That Sunn is a work of art!

This is my current set up for playing and gigging. I've given the jazz time off as it's far too precious, and the Warwick thumb has lay dormant since I picked up this P bass.

Sweet Jesus! They look brill. How do they sound?
Cheers Steve, they sound awesome. They have plenty of heft, but with a nice definition and a touch of sparkle. I've been round the houses with the Ampeg to find the tone, but I plugged the Ric into this and the Ric just said yes. I believe these were made in 1972. Almost noiseless, not bad for 42 years old! :)
