danbowskill Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Not anything very exciting for this thread. But this is my first venture into an all valve head.............n oi bloody loves it :-) took a bit of tweaking at first ,pump up the mids ,drop the bass to a quarter and never use the high and low boosts.....sounds okish on its own but totaly amazing in the mix,it cuts and cuts and cuts :-).(bit of a naff camera phone pic) Edited August 18, 2014 by danbowskill Quote

Doman Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Well, in fact these are my two stacks for two different bands, but photo was taken at the moment i had both of them in one place. Quote
Highfox Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 After collecting my gear from the practice places, I now have it all together for the first time at home. Quote
krysh Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) tiny but loud enough and sounding fantastic for 95% of all of my gigs even without PA. Edited September 12, 2014 by krysh Quote
Leslie77s Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Not the biggest and perhaps not the best but it still sounds sweet. Edited September 25, 2014 by Leslie77s Quote
karlfer Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Liking my current cabs VERY much, surprisingly more than the B/F S12V I used for 18 months. Shame the Carvin overhangs a bit Quote

Don't know if it sounds any different out front to the punters but it's certainly better for me, getting some sound up closer to the ears. Nice set up Karl. Quote
gsgbass Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014
That Super Bassman looks great!
Thanks, I've been wanting to go back to a real tube amp, since I guess I sold my Traynor head in 1972. Great to play through. Quote

My gig last night sounded a bit muddy on the hollow boomy stage. Great rig and bass!! Edited September 27, 2014 by Leslie77s Quote
BassAgent Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Here's the amp with the classic rig: And here's everything. I also have a Maya but that's for sale so I let it out of the pic Quote
Mr Anthony Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 This has been my amp/cab setup since 2011, and it's muchos powerful. More than I need for the gigs we play, but it's always nice to feel yourself vibrating across the stage, no matter how small. Pictured here with my bitsa Precision, and pear cider. All that's missing is my pedalboard. Must get a full rig picture soon! Quote

It's been doing the job for the past 3 years and it's never let me down, so I honeslty can't see it going anywhere any time soon. Just want a couple of BC212s to go underneath it and I'm set. Quote
Gnermo Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Aint using this amp head, but a Warwick WAMP 280: Still looking for a 4x10, 2x12 and 1/2x15 from this old Yellow series, so if anyone has one let me know! Quote
