That's the way forward.

My rig with the latest addition, a totally great LabGruppen 1000 poweramp. :)
I hadn't really expected a huge difference compared to running the Ampeg pre into my trusty EBS HD350 head, but even at medium volume levels the LabGruppen sounds fuller and sweeter. It plays so effortless it's crazy. Downside is weight of course, but it's well worth it once you plug in!

That's one helluva power amp you've got there. How many cabs do you run off that?

Oh my, now we're talking - that looks awesome!!
Pity the SVT-IIp doesn't fit in the rack though, I'll be happy to take it off your hands.
+1: what cabs do you use with that beef of a QSC?

Just a very quick snap of my new amp rig. I'm in the process of writing a proper review with pics n stuff as soon as, but I couldn't resist getting a taster up online.

Special thanks has got to go to Buck Waller at ISP - and also the guys from GotoGuitars near Manchester for distribution in the UK

You kept that one quiet (or I haven't been frequenting the right threads). I thought that mixing driver sizes was a big no-no. Has it all changed again? I need to keep up with the latest fads :)

I'm sure the cabinet experts can explain it better than I - but if the seperate speakers are properly crossed over and look after their section of the audio spectrum without interference, then 'issues' are minimised.

I've taken the liberty of rewriting 'War and Peace' with the inclusion of some pretty pictures:- http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry592545
The new line is superb.
They are LOUD and very tight in sound.
A little bit more distinctive that the cabs from the ealry years...but 100% Trace again.
+1. Of all the Trace cabs I've played, the new line are easily the best IMO. Lighter, deeper, louder, smoother. Lovely!
