Here's a quick iPhone snap (proper photos at a later date when I next have band practice) of my new compact rig:
Markbass head and a 4x8"

Cheers to oldslapper!

Had a bit of a clear-out to finance the Mark Bass mini stack . Done about half a dozen gigs and the volume and clarity is top notch . Lots of nods from guitarists + drummers who like the sound .
( kinda miss the valves and the 15'' speakers thought )

Are those 4x6s or 4x8s? I'm really curious about these cabs - are you able to describe the sound of your rig?
I recently bought a used Markbass F1 and a used SWR Son of Bertha,
shown with my '82 Tokai Hardpuncher ltd.

Played through it on rehearsal last night and liked the sound.

Nice bass!

Is that a 1x12 or a 1x15?

Cheers
It's a 1x15 with a tweeter. I wanted a 2x10 but the used market is small where I live and this cabinet was available for a reasonable price.
Ahh fair enough :)

Im using the 1x15 Marshall cabinet, it does the job but it isnt great. Was hoping to upgrade it but ended up buying a Lakland! I had been looking at having a 1x15 and 2x10 but apparently the two shouldnt be used together?

Got to try my new set up last night at a decent volume.

Here it is on top of my old Laney 4x10:

I changed the red piping for some yellow to match the head better.

The amount of low end this tiny cab throws out is amazing!
The sound is really clear too, I haven't decided whether I'll use my Sansamp BDDI with it yet.
With the BDDI it sounds a bit thin and rattley, without it's a bit too clean.
I need a bit more tweaking time.

That looks amazing, loving the colour scheme on it. Is that one of those 6x10's that were floating about recently?

Here's my current amp.
The head is 100W valve, made by one of local builders here in Czech Republic. The cab is apparently NOT oragne, it was my friend's project made from laminated polystyrene, really lightweight for 2x12" cab with ordinary (not neodymium) speakers.
The whole is loud enough to cut through loud band (insane drummer, guitarist with loud 60W valve distortion).
