Rig from gig last Friday (poor quality picture aside)

2x Barefaced Compacts

Rack :

Crown Drivecore XLS1500
Sansamp RBI
Rocktron Blue Thunder (in effects loops of RBI)
Korg DTR-2000 tuner
Line 6 XD-V75 wireless
Rolls Midibuddy pedal

Vigier passion IV bass
Shuker custom jazz (not shown)

Sounded rather good and you can never have enough headroom !

I'm guessing your gig was in Leicester, and the audience in Glasgow?

Took the Tone Hammer 500 on its first gig tonight. It sounded great... and deceptively LOUD :)

Phil Jones Cub + PB300. Gigged it for the first time since purchase last Friday; great sound, plenty of volume, compact and light.

With 'grill'

Little practice rig from band rehearsal last night. The rack is mine but the Ampeg isn't - still prefer my two Barefaced Compacts though (as does my back !)

You've gone the same way I did, Pod XT Pro, XLS1500 and BF cabs, I have the Big Twin T though....

Great combination for changing tones and basses on the fly, very versatile and very powerful, it's the BF cabs that really make the Pod work as a live pre-amp I think.

...and I've just realised thats a shot from Quad in Leicester too, I've played through that 8x10 before the BF turned up!

it does work very well but i'm currently experimenting with this setup - a Sansamp RBI / RPM setup with the Compacts - i still need time to understand how the two preamps interact but it sounded pretty good at last weekends gig

Heres my current rig - saying the its one of tc's cheaper head units, its solid and stupidly loud. Could so with another compact for the bigger gigs, but fairly happy with my current setup. 5 stringer exclusive now :D

My cheapest rig to date, a total cost of £100:

Wow, that's a whole lotta rig for the price of a pedal! There's a lot of bargains to be had for people who have the strength and space for an 8x10, but £100 for that lot? Stupendous!

Bedroom / kitchen practice stack... :D I DI 'usually' (ha, gigged twice in my life :D) local second hand shops, 2 guitar practice amps for 15 quid each, with a behringer ultra g 4x12 emulator box up front and a bunch of pedals! I kinda like it! :D
