StevieD_FenderP2009
My "it's getting more ridiculous by the minute" bass rig... Trace Elliot AH350SMX GP12 head (considering selling with original footswitch) Korg DTR1000 tuner ('cos we all need to be in tune SOMEtimes) Behringer t1952 stereo valve driven compressor/limiter (I use a lot of treble, I need to reduce the hiss) Space for a pair of C Audio SR 707 MKII power amps (not yet bought) 2u rack tray (for the few pedals I want to use. Haven't got the tray in the picture though) Off from that we go to: Marshall 1935A JCM800 Bass series 4x12 (celestion G12-65 speakers, Eminence PXB5k crossover and Eminence APT80 super tweeter fitted) Marshall 1935B JCM800 Bass series 2x15 (celestion G15-75 speakers, ported)
nick
Here's my rig... Trace Elliot V-Type 300H. Nice & simple, basic three way preamp with a couple of Harma (cryo) Telefunken ECC803S clones, which give it a nice warmth & clarity. The amp's loud & clean, but not in 'hi-fi' way. A 'Loud' cab - infamous brand which some folk from BassWorld days may recall. The driver's been replaced with a Kappalite 3015, internal damping also added & the port retuned somewhat via some WinISD assistance from Mr. Foxen. The cab is quite transparent sounding to my ears, punchy sounding, articulates notes well. At less than 15kg, it's pretty light too - can lift it with one arm! It will have to do for me, until I can afford a BF Compact Edited March 23, 2012 by nick
BassBod
Nick, Do you realise you've turned into Mr Sensible Rig? Functional, reliable, economical. Sometimes, you must need that little something extra..bright box...paradiddle IQ....envelope licker.....something with lights, that flash....... Muzz
Here's the "Where's the rest of it?" rig at a recent gig - the cab's sitting on one of those adjustable stands (about £15 or so from EBay IIRC) which helps with the 'cab pointing at your feet' syndrome common with small cabs. Must do a review of the stand - it's a godsend.

clarkpegasus4001
This is my current amp and cab, a Tecamp Puma 350 head and Tecamp 115 cab. These might be for sale soon. Also on view is my Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress in rare green/black colour that I occasionally take to gigs. dan670844
Just sold everything else after all my years of playing, Ampeg, Trace Elliot, Ashdown solid state and now this is it perfection im in love, any tone is there from super clean detailed hifi, to dirty scrunge all by twiddling three knobs and three switches................. the harmonics and the dynamics tone tone tone! and loud enough for all my rehearsal needs and small gigs with the super sensitive LB212, output transformer di for same tone to the desk. Its even easy and cheap to service, with its soft start cathode bias power amp, even a numpty like me can service it. Big brother on its way CTM300 and CL610 for big gigs.
