steve-soar
Here's mine. I need a smaller cab for getting to the rehearsal room, so get in touch. Aguilar DB680 preamp, QSC PLX 3102 (3100 watts @ 4 ohms) and a Tech Soundsystems 610XT. It sounds incredible, totally blows anything I have had before clean away. ped
essentially what ive got, i dont have my own pictures. my stuff is at the practise space. i occasionally use my Hartke 2.5XL with an additional pre-amp (if theres one lying around - usually ashdown) for extra ampage. i dont use many effects, i mainly use an EHX q-tron and various distortions. although im not a big overdrive or distortion fan. Ive been wanting an octave pedal for a while. I just can't settle on one desicion . Got any good choices i could look at?
I bet that sounds fierce. Cool setup, I wish I had the ability to move something like this around. As per octave pedals - there are lots of FX people in the other forum who will be able to help and give you an almost frightening level of insight but I for one used to enjoy the Digitech Bass Synth Wah pedal for octave effects - one 'mode' is a wah octave, but it is widely regarded as a superbly tracking octaver with the wah section disengaged. Plus you get the extra sounds too! Cheers ped

Rayman
I like these simple, classy rigs. If I could've afforded to, I'd have gone that way myself recently, but opted for a 2x10 combo. I've said it before, all you really need is a nice bass you're comfy with, a good quality rig and a cord and you're ready to go. Either one of these last two setups would've been perfect for me. I have a Stingray and a Jazz too, and I'd love either of those last two rigs to go with them.

I DI'd from my old GK 700RB-II on those recordings. Next time I think I'll DI from the Aguilar head and mic one of the cabs. These cabs are too good not to be heard on record! I love Bass Machines, cool name, cool designs.
Thanks, good to see someone else appreciating it It sounds fantastic, SO much power, taken a bit of effort to restore it but definitely worth it. HH seem to have gotten a bit of a bad name in the past years, and i'm not really sure why; great sound and huge reliability, mine had been running for 27 years before i got it, and was still going strong despite several several important parts failing -- which i only discovered when i opened the amp. Can't ask for more than that, an amplifier that doesn't break down even when it does. British engineering win.
