Gank Bass Posted January 12 Posted January 12 First gig of 2025, a birthday party, but the venue was part of a busy restaurant so they asked us to be mindful of volume. Felt like a great excuse to use my little cab for a little low end whilst the pa did the heavy lifting. Forgot how nice these eden cabs are and I got it for a steal. 4 Quote
Jack Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) As someone who was once politely asked to not play an EBMM Bongo as it was too garish, jealous of the kind of band where you can play that beautiful bass. Edited January 13 by Jack 2 Quote

msb Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) My Jo Choui amp arrived , I believe the form was inspired by the Demeter Minnie. This should become my gigging rig for the time being. Edited January 21 by msb Trying to include photo Quote

I use the Phil Jones double 4 for my main feed to the desk and my own monitoring for the acoustic band. Plenty loud enough and a huge sound😁🤘 Quote
msb Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Now I did pick up a Barefaced One10 and it’s not much larger , and can fill a room. But the C2 is wonderful if you sit directly in front of it at low volume , but it just doesn’t fill a room. Quote

Sounded nice, loud enough to get by but I would have liked a bit more oomph. PA wasn't great as eq was way out imho. 1 Quote
