krispn Posted September 15, 2010 Share Posted September 15, 2010 (edited) Hey chatters and lurkers! **Cab is in Edinburgh** The classic SVT 410 cab - this model was the first to incorporate the speakon connector, hence the HLN (N for neutrik?) and is now more commonly known as the HLF This cab has 500w/1000w peak power output/handling and runs at 4 ohms for maximum output. There is some slight peeling on the tolex covering due in part to natural wear and the removal in and out of the flight case- I'll include pic's later tonight. This cab is, for me, the ideal rock bass cab and delivers! However, having gigged last night and not able to bring my own rig due to the promoter say there was a 'bass rig' I found myself playing through a 65 watt practice amp. I need to get a smaller cab I can bring to gigs so I can hear myself and get a half decent tone out of! It's sad but thats how it goes - it soul destroying playing with a great practice room rig and not being able to take it out to gigs Pic's to follow later today PM question and I'll do my best to answer them.
