Monday01 Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Not sure if this is the right place to post, but ive just seen that Glen is doing a Master Class at the British Music Experience in October. Has anyone been to one of these things before? I'd be travelling from Gosport so want to know whether it'll be worth the trip cheers Quote
Mickeyboro Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 Funnily enough he lives on the Isle of Wight - you could probably get a one to one! Quote
Annoying Twit Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 For reasons that would be too lengthy to explain, this is the bass riff that I want to learn above all others. Quote
SteveK Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Glen Matlock? Master class? I assume it will be purely anecdotal. Quote

I had a bootleg album of thiers. I cant remember what it was called but it was on the sp**k label. It had Substitute, Stepping stone, road runner and a few other covers IIR, as well as songs off Never mind. I learnt all those classics from this album. Quote
Monday01 Posted September 16, 2010 Author Posted September 16, 2010 I saw Glen with The Faces down at the Goodwood Festival a few weeks ago and it was a pretty good show. Also heading down to the 100 Club to see his new set up. He may not be the best bassist in the world..but he's got the attitude all right. I got a ticket for this master class today - apparently capacity is only 60!
