What length are Fender Short Scale strings?

I've read that they are too short for Fender/Squier Broncos etc. and Fender Medium scale fit.

I have a 29" scale bass - would Fender S/Scale fit?

Can't answer the question on Fender strings as I've never used them, but I have a Mustang and thats short scale, 30" BUT I have to use medium strings cos' it's thru body stringing.

One to watch for if your bass is thru body stringin.
