Their new CD comes out on Sept. 28. www.bangtower.com[/quote] 'new Power-Prog Trio' I can't help feeling Percy is a wasted talent these days in these kind of outfits - he always seems to play in bands with hysterical, loud guitars or with musicians who like using out of date, naff 80's FM sounds. I wished he'd play outside of the Jazz Rock genre and avoid 'new Power-Prog Trios' for once. His playing really stands out on the Brian Eno stuff (for instance) because it's not swamped in drivel boring musicians. He should seek more interesting situations IMO Quote
goingdownslow Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I used to listen in awe of Percy playing with the Liverpool Scene in O'Connors Tavern in the late 60s. The bass he was playing had a neck like a banana but he made it sound incredilbe. Quote
