Doddy
So,after being a fan for years but always missing them on tour,I finally managed to see Barenaked Ladies at Rock City in Nottingham on Tuesday. Great show, and bass player Jim Creegan was all over it. He's got some great chops on both Upright and on Electric and appears to have quite an aggressive right hand technique. For those who care,he was playing a Hofner 500/1 and an old Gibson Les Paul Triumph, aswell as an Upright.
Randy_Marsh
I met him when i saw them in birmingham a while ago. Really nice bloke who's very down to earth. Love his playing and he was ace live too, very talented player. Plus he's been in a video with Hank Hill, so that makes him an even more legendary guy haha
Mr Fudge
Big fan of BNL and Creegan. Couldn't go and see them without Page though.
Cat Burrito
I think they are a great band in general. I didn't realise they were over

I didn't realise they were over[/quote] They're not, but Stephen Page was booted out the band a year or so ago. He couldn't overcome his demons and I think some egos were too big for it all to carry on. Saw them a few times in the 90's and about 5 years ago at The Hummingbird in Brum. Best one was 97 in some little tent at The Phoenix Festival. They were sh1t hot. BNL and Neil Young on the same bill .... happy days ....
