essexbasscat
This one has come up on the band's setlist. Just checking out the song for vocals etc and found this performance by the Tremeloes. It's obviously live, with all four band members harmonising. I often refer to the studio recording to get a good drift of a song, but in this case, the live performance is actually better, which is reason why I'd like to share this nice piece of musicianship with you all. For anyone that enjoys it

spinynorman
Is that a Rivoli? I think I can see an E logo on the pickguard. They had a good apprenticeship ...
SteveK
Worked with them many, many times in the mid to late 80s. They were the only major band from the 60s with the totally original lineup, or at least, that's how they were often billed. Got to know them pretty well - a lovely bunch of guys - real gents. If memory serves they did Silence a capella. Edited September 17, 2010 by SteveK

The Bass Doc
I played in a band that supported the Tremoloes twice in 1968/9. Shared the dressing-room with them at the Mayfair Newcastle. Great blokes with no sense of ego - they were in the charts then but treated us semi-pros like buddies. And they were that good.
essexbasscat
The more I think about this performance and the comments here, the more I reflect on how much live performance expectations have been affected by autotune, etc A benchmark standard here perhaps ? By the way, we certainly have some pedigree around here eh? a real pleasure to hear about members past experiences with this and other bands from the past T Edited September 18, 2010 by essexbasscat
