KiOgon Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 I have to say - TOP MARKS TO STRINGBUSTERS - Next day after their email I received a replacement E string & as promised a return paid bag for the 'short E'. New string fitted as you would expect, approx 3/4" from the nut to the silk, fine now The faulty string is on it's way back to Stringbusters now, who will I trust keep me informed regarding La Bella's response. A little quote from their email: "The La Bella's are still made by an army of ladies manually controlling the machines so perhaps whom ever was on that run was having a bad day... We'll mention it to them and see what they think." Cheerz, John Quote
270degrees Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 And to answer your other question: yes, they will soften up a bit through use. Quote
