Geddy Lee

Now call me an old dope, but here s something that’s puzzled me for a while.

Geddy Lee, right I hear a few ways people pronounce his name, how do you it , is it Geddy as Ger Garden, or is it Geddy as if it were with a "J" as in Jeddy and what is the correct way.

I have always said it as it would be with a J

His grandmother use to pronounce Gary as Geddy, I think she was European Jewish.

Dunno why, but I've always assumed it was pronounced with a 'hard' G, as in Goodfellow, as opposed to a 'soft' G, as in GB.

Definitely G-eddy not Jeddy... We used to struggle with Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley at school - is it Fray lee or Free lee. We decided it was Fray lee

You'll be amazed how long it took me to get that accent right and overdub it. The scream took alone took me 20 takes.
