They always seem to go for more than I expect.

Aria acoustic bass. RRP £249. Street price, I can't find out, but let's say £199 like the elecord six strings. Second hand price? Again I can't find out, but say £120-£130? With how much is wrong with it, is it really worth £46 + £12 p&p?

I've just remembered something I read some time ago. I may have the details wrong.

Basically, someone would buy a B stock instrument. They'd then buy the same instrument from an ebay seller, or was it another internet seller. They'd then claim that the instrument was damaged on receipt, and return it for a refund. If I remember correctly, this scam was effective when committed against internet sellers, as many don't open the boxes they receive from the factory, and don't know the condition of the instrument contained within.
