I really wanted the 15-string so I don't have to keep de-tuning to get a low D. Quote
Ou7shined Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Come off it. That's not a bass, that's a... a.... harp. Quote

Low End Bee Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I like the Cheap Trick blokes bass sound. Therefore I'm in. Just need another two bass rigs. Quote

BigRedX Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Fantastic! If I had a spare £1500 it would probably be mine already... Quote
Bassassin Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 That's a spectacular-looking thing right enough. But 12.4lbs? My back hurts just looking at it! Jon. Quote
RhysP Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010
its no ampeg
I wasn't aware that Ampeg made a 12 string bass. I posted a link to that Chandler Royale months ago - I'm very surprised nobodies bought it at that price. Awesome bass but I suppose the market for 12vers is pretty limited. I used to have a Hamer 12ver - wish I still had it. Quote
ahpook Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 and there i was watching an 8-string on ebay... i'm getting octave string gas Quote
Delberthot Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 8 stings are more managable - try to play too quickly on a 12 and it quickly does an impersonation or someone throwing a load of plugged in guitars down a flight of stairs Quote
