sockdeluxe_mikey Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Would anybody believe me if I said that (COMPLETELY out of the blue) I sold my Badass II off my Marcus Miller for £135 a while ago? It was open to bidding and it went sky high, much to my complete amazement. AND I got paid too! Quote

(excluding postage say £25 max, judging by the weight / size of all 9 together) Well mmm if you buy the lot and sell them one by one at about..... say £80 each going by ebay average, you'll double your money. My question is why would this seller want to shift all 9 at once? Close down sale or sinister circumstances..... back of a lorry sort of thing... tea leafed? Quote
Raggy Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 So it looks like Bass Guitar Parts Direct has gone out of business, perhaps. I tried to go on their site a few weeks ago and could not find it. They have been mentioned on here a few times. Quote

Given a lot of conversations I've had with experienced players, it does seem to be quite a common belief, but as I said, no science or logic that I'm aware of. Chris Quote

Thanks for clearing that up. Try calling WDmusic products and ask how much they have them for - they often have mix and match combinations (silver bridge with black saddles etc) going V cheap.
