Im not saying she is the best looking girl ever or the best bassist ever either but Im guessing she beats most of the Basschat members on both counts! Quote
thisnameistaken Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 The world's not short of attractive women or quality bassists. I suppose if you got someone who was both it would be novel, but bass playing isn't something I look for in a woman. I've even had a girlfriend who played bass but it certainly wasn't the bass playing I was interested in! Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 My Missus is a lefty so it stopped all them "show me how to play it" goings on years ago! She is good at cooking and cleaning though! I still think Ida is pretty hot though and fairly Milfy I would say? EBS_Freak used to have one of them Daryl Jones Laklands and his used to hum its tits off like hers too! Shame as they are nice basses...... Quote
phil.i.stein Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 no jokes about pulling off g-strings please, that would be way below the belt.. Quote
Low End Bee Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Sexism aside. The Ball bearings in a bucket style doesn't do a lot for me. Quote
Annoying Twit Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I prefer this one: If she can play a five string with a wide looking fretboard with those tiny little hands......... Quote
Rich Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 'Ida Funkhauser'? Yes, I would have too. I hereby apologise for the gratuitously sexist nature of that comment. Couldn't resist though Quote

Really handy for tapping and tricky chordal parts where it can help to keep the parts sounding leaner and not having to worry about ringing out strings. It's as handy as a dampener pedal on a piano. grahamd Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Doug Johns uses the scrunchy dampener too Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted September 25, 2010 Author Posted September 25, 2010 I will give it a try then,Shame Im bald though I might have to raid the wifes bobble collection! Quote
