Clarky Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I have an hour or two to kill tomorrow afternoon before my flight back to London. Does anyone know of any good bass shops in Copenhagen that I could go snooping round? PS, I think Celinders are made there but at their new prices I won't be buying anything other than strings! Quote
Happy Jack Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Couldn't help idly wondering if local bass retailers take advantage of their most famous luthier's reputation by selling loads of Cylinder basses and Colander basses ... Quote
bassbloke Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 There's three I can remember, but this was years ago. You go up the main pedestrianised shopping street, heading away from Tivoli right to the top and there's a xcouple of big music shops on the right There's also the bass shop where Celinder are based. We are talking 10+ years ago since I went though. Danish girls and Tuborg. Very nice. 25% VAT on booze. Not so nice. Quote

EdwardHimself Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I went about 7 year ago but i didn't actually used to play bass then so i wasn't really looking for music shops. Some nice IT cafes tho lolz. Quote
Kiwi Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Celinder are no longer retailing, although Chris used to own a music shop I believe. He's got a small workshop close to the airport these days. Quote
