Happy Jack Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Just spotted this one myself ... I was going to put it under JapCrap but for all I know it's his uncle's vintage Fender that he found in the attic. Quote
waynepunkdude Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Contemplating buying it, that body looks lovely. Quote

[/quote] It's JapCrap or KoreaDiarrhoea - looks a lot like the suspected Columbus I had a few months back & flogged chez BC, only a bit more cracky. Baseball bat neck on that one but it played really nice. Actually, looking at the inlays & square heel, might be an early MIK Hohner. J. Quote

Mr. Foxen Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 Check huge crack in the back mind. And the pickup route appears to have no sides. Quote

If anyone is thinking about it, to do a proper job, I'd imagine that it might need a re-fret as it look like the fret markers have been rubbed back which means the fretboard needs re-lacquering - the simplest and cleanest thing to do would be to whip off the frets and do it. It's not a big job - just a bit scary. Quote
