radansey
What ya reckon. [attachment=4357:EG02136.jpg] Same as pic, but passive £90 Tempted (oh no, GAS again!!) as a second (or is that fourth) bass. Ross
dangerboy
I used to have an active one. Nice basses. I reckon you could beat that price for a second-hand one on the 'Bay, though. Not by much, but I'm sure mine was £60ish and I sold it on for about the same.
radansey
Went and had another look today - you definitely get what u pay for. Hence, decided to walk away. I didn't think that I would be satisfied with a nearly-copy. Instead, I have decided to build my own Precision from parts. I have most spares already including an alder body which I started to build a couple of years ago but got bored. Now I can start again from scratch. Will post soon in 'Builds' with my initial thoughts and options, etc

mikeh
YOu'd be better buying my OLP, at least thats still a pretty decent bass!!
Machines
Mike has a point actually.. the OLPs are more Stingray like than most of the copies out there.
Dread Bass
I have a vintage stingray copy my G/F bought it for my birthday blessher. Its not bad i like the neck and it looks cool but the truss rod is too far to one side in the neck so you cant adjust it
Tait
If you want a cheap stingray copy OLP is definatly the way to go! If mikeh's is the silver one in the for sale section, I'd go for that, its really cheap!

It obviously hasn't got the clout of my Stingray IV, but in terms of quality and feel the OLP's are the best copies out there IMHO. Excpetional value, and Mikeh's looks very cool!
