Jazz Bass Series Wiring (No Push Pull switch)

Hi - I want to try series wiring my J-bass, however don't want to have to install a switch right now.

Have had a hunt around and most seem to include adding a push-pull switch... which I don't want to do right now.

It's a US Fender with Seymour Duncan 1/4 pounders if that helps.

Has anyone got a wiring diagram (or can anyone point me to a link with a wiring diagram) for this? I'm a novice solderer, so simple as poss would be fab.
