Bassassin
The Canadian trio will jet to London to pick up the accolade at the event
Schoolboy error - no they won't. Two of them will attend, while Peart stays home moping around and writing interminably dull, long-winded & self-important books about how much he hates this awful, awful job he has, and how much he prefers riding around on his motorbike. Jon.
Chris2112
Well, they deserve this award! They rock!

Especially if they're European. Shut up & play the drums, Purt, just shut up & play the drums. J.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Nice one! Roll on 2011 for Rush gig(probably o2). They may even announce dates on the awards night.

I would far sooner wait a bit longer for them to tour supporting the new album than have them bring the current tour over here. J. Hot Tub
I'd love them to tour with the old stuff - 2112, Hemispheres, Farewell To Kings, etc. Yes, yes, Rockosaurus, I know....
Mr Fudge
If they do a European tour we could be in for a bit of a treat, new stuff, MP, B sides???? Not just the coast to coast US set. I know what you are saying about Peart, although he did come across better than I expected on "beyond the lighted stage".
TimR
A night with the O2 filled with blokes over 40 and their teenage sons?

It was the same but smaller and there weren't any teenage sons. There were some women there though. I think. Mr Fudge
I've booked to see Quo. Never seen them live but my 5 and 8 year old love them since I sky+ their Glastonbury gig a few years ago. I'll get the Mrs to drive and take on suitable refreshments. I have to admit I'm looking forward to it.

Hot Tub - not sure Geddy can do the vocals for a lot of the pre-Permanent Waves stuff justice any more. They've been playing 2112 dropped to D for years now - and it don't sound right! Their recent stuff's been quite hit-or-miss for a while but I am looking forwards to the new album, mostly because it seems it'll be a story-based concept affair. About bloody time! J. KevB
Yep, if you want to hear some old stuff you are better off going to a Bravado gig these days than waiting for the real thing
